Monitor
Kenya typology rules score every M-Pesa transaction as it arrives.
For Kenya's digital lenders and SACCOs
Tillsight watches paybill collections and loan disbursements across each borrower's linked phone numbers, explains every alert in plain language, and drafts the STR for your MLRO to approve.
Working prototype with simulated data. Recruiting design partners for 2027 pilots.
Borrowers repay from several lines, payments sit just under M-Pesa caps, and loans are cycled through third parties. Most teams piece this together by hand, then rewrite it again for an STR and again for the inspector.
Kenya typology rules score every M-Pesa transaction as it arrives.
Each alert says why it fired, with the numbers and transactions behind it.
Four-eyes approval, then a goAML-style STR draft and a one-page summary.
Onboarding checks with screening and risk tiering in the same record.
The product
Paybill callbacks are scored against Kenya typology rules within seconds of arrival: structuring under M-Pesa caps, third-party loan cycling, many-to-one repayments, velocity spikes, dormant reactivation and sanctions matches.
Every alert explains itself in plain language: how many payments, over what period, from which of the customer's numbers, and how that compares with what they borrowed. Analysts assign, note and close with a reason.
An analyst recommends, the MLRO approves, and Tillsight drafts a goAML-style XML report with the reporting deadline counted from suspicion formed. The MLRO always files.
Registry lookup, liveness and face match through a KYC partner, with our own sanctions and PEP screening and a risk tier on the customer record. Slow registry responses queue and retry instead of losing the applicant.
Every action is logged with who, when and what changed, before and after. Export it for a CBK or SASRA inspection in one click.
How it works
M-Pesa callbacks and your loan book, read-only. No change to how you collect or disburse.
Kenya typology rules, with thresholds your compliance team can tune and explain.
Analysts review, the MLRO approves. Tillsight supports decisions; it never makes them.
A goAML-style STR draft for the MLRO to file, and an audit trail for the inspector.

Where we are
Trust
Production hosting in Kenyan data centres, with a second site for recovery.
Decision support, not automated decisions. Every approval is a named person's.
A data processing agreement and DPIA under Kenya's Data Protection Act before any pilot data moves.
An append-only audit log designed for seven-year retention and inspection export.
These are our commitments for the production service, which is in development.
Design-partner programme
Ideally at least one digital credit provider and one deposit-taking SACCO.
Dates are our plan, not a commitment. Starting a pilot needs only a non-binding letter of intent.
